...are we really about to debate an over 16 year old video because someone found a button that does what its supposed to do by the engine's default standards? Why did you even need to *spam* F1 when it should just work that one press, anyway? That sounds like a notable problem in and of itself. Look, the point of the matter is that it *can* cheap out to this point, and it's usually immediate. You can argue that there are worse characters; I can agree with that (I've seen the other comment, and I won't argue that because I've seen it even while I've been long inactive on MUGEN). However, that still absolutely does not excuse creators, past, present or future who do things presented in this video. It shouldn't even get to the point where using F1 is an option, so that's completely beyond the point. It's a case of maybe, just maybe some ideas that get brought up in one's head are best left in your head. Though, I am curious. Which character(s) did you use to beat a Hard Mode Kong AI? Was it a character with balanced, general stats? I mean, we're going this far on a dated video, you can humor me with at least this.

You're going to flat out and blatantly ignore problems that are clearly in front of you while taking on other [potentially easier and more obvious] targets. Problems that are treated as seriously bad in the scope of balanced character creation, and you're turning a blind eye using just as lackluster excuses to justify your own personal crusade. Basically harassing people that don't instantly see your viewpoint in the process (again, wasting time on a 16 year old video; making me waste a fraction of my life humoring this). While it's good to see that you have little tolerance of dumb characters, the fact that you're just going to turn a blind eye to this shows a level of ignorance that is very concerning. All because something is technically worse, doesn't mean that issues that are just as inexcusable should be merely tossed aside. That's the definition of stupidity. Don't go that route, and rethink your assessment on how silly some characters can act. Also, I've seen the characters you've mentioned in action several times before, and they aren't really any better, which was what I was afraid of and was completely expecting when I asked. Using characters that are more questionable on surface level than they appear to use as a mean to vindicate your reasoning doesn't help your argument. You're just using a worse nuke to attempt to defuse a lighter nuke... which is basically hypocrisy, especially when talking about things that are supposedly "worse" than something else. So no, I don't buy it. You can continue to pointlessly antagonize me all you want by this point. It doesn't change that 1) what was posted in this video still doesn't change the broken nature of what *still* exists in this particular AI, and 2) using something broken to beat another broken thing is not a solid foundation for a counterargument; it only justifies the initial point made due to reaching that point in order to beat the aforementioned broken character in question. You can go ahead and have a final say if you want, since that's probably what's going to happen anyway, but I'm wiping my hands clean of this discussion. You do what you do.

@@LordVucious are you stupid? you ask for proof of characters, and i did not ignore the issue. yes kong has broken issues, but when it comes to other users who do worst things, it seems you ignore that. how are nyal null and hellsing anderson edit not better either? they have moves that cancel out the broken health recovery that kong's hard ai has, where it can cheat death if it hits to a certain point. like i said, i can make a video, show casing this. i don't care if your videos is the golden age long video as, me at the zoo youtube video. you have your comments open for a reason. if you did not want to waste your time here, why comment at me back? it is obvious you wanted to debate me, i don't see you going after other users who do the samething

That's the general design of Z-Proto as a whole. You lose health for every attack and gain health whenever an attack connects on an enemy. It's all intentional.

You know, I was half-tempted to leave it at that because it felt in tone with the stupidity of the game, but then I realized that RUclips is kind of dumb for not recognizing it when it has the game (amazingly) amongst its set of game titles. So I appreciate the catch.

@@LordVucious I felt the same way posting block man powered up version video because the category I put is supposed to be a Megaman powered up but when I put it twice, RUclips algorithms put the category on Megaman 11 💀

It's as I said in the description. There is a working copy out there, but it has something to do with getting Meegah Mem II and digging around for a bit.

I just went back and played through this video again to see if there were any noteable irregularities, and I found no such issues with the playback. Could the issue be on your end? If there are more people that have the same issue as you, I'll reupload the video to make sure that the playback is better, but as of this moment, after receiving no issues on my end, I'm going to assume that this is an isolated situation. I will still maintain awareness though if this happens again for anyone else.

@@MarshmallowShibe Not a problem at all. It's still a decently old upload. Who knows what stuff can happen over time? Besides, as a fellow Rokko Chan fan, I do want to make sure that my part in supporting this over 10 year (!) old game is properly preserved in one way, shape or form.

To be fair, I don't think many (including myself) have tried to use it other than on the final boss. I've learned it long ago from another run that did this trick, so I believe that the player that learned of this trick tried it on other eneimes and/or bosses beforehand which is why it's not done anywhere else and is exclusive to the Mad Capsule. Then again, that knowledge is from long enough ago, that it could be worth looking back again to check if it doesn't work on anything else other than the Mad Capsule. However, it won't be from me as I'm currently retired from running the game. If it's found that there is more to the support bomb than being a final boss killer and is worth using beyond that, then maybe there could be a renewed interest in running this game.

@@leoandrews792 There are two things I can think of to try. First, did you patch the hack to a Rockman 7 rom, and not a Mega Man 7 rom (Bean Lover only works for JP Rockman 7 roms)? Second, which emulator did you try and use (I tend to use Bizhawk with the SNES9X core)? Check on those first, then see if there are any issues.

Well, let's hope so. Not just to showcase the run one more time, but to have my first taste of experiencing any part of Europe as well as my first live ESA experience after knowing and supporting it (within my ability) for many years.
